Getting in touch

Best way — from inside the app

Settings → Send Feedback. It prefills the app version, your iOS version, and device details, so the problem can be understood without a round of questions. You can read and edit all of it before sending.

Beta testers

Use the TestFlight app's feedback button, or take a screenshot inside Calendum and tap Share → Feedback. Screenshots and device details are attached automatically, which makes this the most useful bug report you can send.

By email

If you can't use either of the above, write to hellocalendum.app. Please include your app version and iOS version.

Frequently asked

Which calendars does Calendum work with?

All of them. Calendum uses EventKit, so any account already set up in iOS Settings works — iCloud, Google, Exchange, Fastmail, subscribed calendars, local calendars. There is no separate login, because Calendum never connects to those services itself.

What is a protection rule?

A standing instruction: when a calendar you choose has an event, Calendum blocks that same time on another calendar. Your colleagues see busy time without seeing what it's for. If the original event moves or is deleted, the block follows automatically.

Will people at work see my personal event details?

Not unless you choose to. By default the block just says Busy and carries no detail from the event that triggered it. Each rule has a "Show real titles" option — only if you switch that on does the block carry the original event's title. The rule's row always shows which mode it's in.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account, ever. Calendum works offline; your calendar accounts sync on their own schedule through iOS, exactly as they do in Apple's Calendar app.

Does it sync between my iPhone and iPad?

Yes, through your own iCloud account. If you're not signed in to iCloud, everything still works on the device — it just doesn't sync.

What happens when the trial ends?

Everything is free for 7 days, and one tap adds another week if you need it. After that, protection rules pause and Calendum cleanly removes the blocks it created — it never leaves orphaned events behind on your calendars. Creating new events, tasks, and rules then needs the one-time purchase; everything you already have stays readable and completable, and buying brings your rules back instantly. Nothing of yours is deleted or held hostage.

Is it a subscription?

No. $14.99 once, and it's yours.

Reminders sync isn't showing my list

Check Settings → Apps → Calendum on your iPhone and confirm Reminders access is granted. Calendum can only see lists that iOS has given it permission to read.

A block didn't appear, or didn't move

Updating blocks is opportunistic — it runs when the app is in the foreground and periodically in the background, so a block can lag behind a change made elsewhere. Open Calendum and pull to refresh. If a block is still wrong after that, please send feedback from inside the app; that report includes the details needed to trace it.

What does Calendum require?

iPhone or iPad running iOS 18 or later.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too: reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer cannot issue refunds directly.
