Rules
Set a rule once: when my personal calendar has an event, hold that time as Busy on my work calendar. Calendum creates the Busy event, keeps track of it, and checks it again each time the app syncs. If the original moves, the Busy event follows on the next pass.
Add time before or after when an hour needs room around it. Coworkers see that you are busy. The title stays hidden unless you turn it on for that rule.
Plan the day, not only the meetings
- Capture a task or an event. You choose which.
- Plan a day: pick the tasks, their order, a start time and each duration. Calendum shows what fits before anything changes.
- Move and resize a time block after you place it.
- Protect a task or an event in the calendars you choose, with optional time before and after.
- A repeating task is one row. Finish it and it moves to its next date.
- Link the Reminders lists you choose. Edits, due dates, completion and deletion flow back to the original reminder. Calendum never creates a reminder and never touches a list you did not link.
- Look back at completed work by day, or open Insights to see what you planned, protected and completed. There is no score.
Calendum never moves a task on its own.
Privacy
There is no Calendum account, no sign-up, no analytics SDK and no Calendum-operated server. Calendum works through Apple's frameworks with the calendars already on your iPhone or iPad: iCloud, Google, Exchange and the other account types iOS supports.
App data syncs through your own private iCloud. Calendar changes go through the accounts you set up in iOS. The developer cannot read either. That is also why the purchase can be one-time: there is no cloud bill to pass on to you.
